Airline Discounts


Nelda Ireland, a member of the GCLS, has negotiated airline discounts for people attending the GCLS Annual Conference in Dallas this year. You have the option to work with the airlines directly, or to work with Nelda to purchase your airlines ticket.  If you choose to book through Nelda her contact is nireland@sbcglobal.net. Her fee is normally $40.00 but she will only charge $20.00. Her agency of record is Campbell Travel.
Discounts have been negotiated with American, Delta and United Airlines.

Under TSA regulations, all airlines are required to request and collect the following secure flight passenger data:
  • Full name as it appears on government-issued ID approved for use when traveling
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Redress number (optional)

The Mission of the Golden Crown Literary Society

The Golden Crown Literary Society (GCLS) is an educational organization whose mission is for the enjoyment, discussion, and enhancement of lesbian literature and creative non-fiction. Our goals are to support and strengthen quality lesbian writing by providing places for readers and writers to interact; to encourage and assist new writers and established authors to develop their craft; and to recognize and promote lesbian work.

An all-volunteer effort relying on the expertise of its members, the GCLS works to develop programs that provide ways for readers and writers to interact, to encourage and assist new writers and established authors, and to recognize and promote lesbian literary work. The GCLS is open to anyone interested in these goals.

 

The GCLS is continually searching for those interested in helping the GCLS grow and prosper. If you would like to serve on an advisory board, please email the director of the department you would like to work with, or contact one of the other advisory board members for more information.

The Golden Crown Literary Society is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is the promotion of, and education related to, lesbian fiction.
